Weird book, for sure. I enjoyed it, but was confused for a lot of it. The idea behind the end was great, though I wish it had been better developed.
The scene withthe towns-people lying at the base of the cliff with Elissa amongst them gave me chills, and I liked the idea of Blossom’s heart guiding Clarence down one of the paths .
The characters were interesting and whimsical, but I think the brevity of the graphic novel kept me from really enjoying them.

Graphic: Body horror
Moderate: Death and Suicide
Though most of the book is actually a fairly sanitised view of death & body horror owed to by its simple (and cute) art style, there were a few pages that made me wince a little.teelight's review

Considering I found this book hidden behind a Naruto manga I wasn't expecting much, but I was surprised. This is actually a well thought out metaphysical journey through the afterlife. It isn't very fleshed out at all so the ending feels a bit out of place. The art work is adorable though and in the end that is what really sticks with me. This is an adorable story about something that isn't adorable at all.
