I'm such a sucker for a twisted fairytale, an imaginative retelling, a classic story but make it gay. And I love it even more from another perspective; love a book that asks the question, "Are people born wicked? Or do they have wickedness thrust upon them?" On that note, on top of Sleeping Beauty there were other hints and whispers of other stories along the way, like that in Wicked, or even a dash of Cinderella here and there. Just truly magical!
