Feminism certainly is for everybody, and this book is to. If you read one brief, straightforward primer on the topic, it should be this one. Absolutely eye opening and easily digested due to being so well written, readable chapter by chapter in any order, and perfectly succinct. Highly recommend.

Estuvo bien, solo a ratos se sentía como "spam" de la propia bell hooks para sus otros ensayos/libros, jaja.

I think because I’ve read more modern texts on feminism both nonfiction and fiction this didn’t feel quite as revolutionary as it perhaps would have being new to feminism as a whole. I recognize that is sort of the point and likely would have been more impactful in the early 2000s but I still was expecting something new to be explored here. It felt pretty repetitive in terms of the content and the action items throughout too.

Listening to bell hooks' 'Feminism For Everyone' was a revelation. This book presents the most non-hostile, non-accusatory view of feminism I've ever encountered, capturing the truest essence of the movement. It's the perfect answer to anyone asking, 'What exactly is feminism?' Even after being an active feminist for over a decade, I found fresh insights that deepened my understanding. The information is invaluable, and hooks' tone is incredibly inviting and thoughtful. I wish I could gift this book to everyone. Bell hooks has long been my favorite, and this book only cements her place in my heart.
