Interesting and quirky prequel that follows Brad's beginnings/origin story. This is a bizarre sock puppet erotic horror that is quite sinister but you can't help but laugh while simultaneously thinking WTF.

"As I lay in that pit of despair I could feel my sanity fraying and in desperation I cried out to the Holy Ball of Yarn for help."

I didn't think these stories could get weirder, but I was clearly wrong. I enjoyed this one more than the first book. A quick, fun read that is honestly just bizarre.
Thank you Jamie for sending me a copy.

Back in 2022 I reviewed A Puppet Scorned by Jamie Kort and was shocked by it. Who doesn’t like sock puppet erotic horror, am I right? So naturally, when she started posting about Brad, Unwound I knew I HAD to read it.

This is the prequel I needed. I mean, is there really anything more uncomfortable than sitting in the break room at work reading about a sock puppet self-darning? Probably not. Don’t ask…just read it.

I really hope Jamie keeps this smutty sock puppet universe going because it’s absolutely wild in the best possible way.
