Claudine is a good addition to the St Clare series. I love her character.

I loved this series, it’s one of my childhood favourites. This was one of the first books I read set in a boarding school, and this series holds a special place in my heart. Would highly recommend it, it’s a fun read. ❤️

Claudine comes to St. Clare's and does what she likes. She even gets the teachers to make her do. Eileen's mother is the new Matron and she soon becomes the class snitch. Pauline is ashamed of her mother so she makes excuses for her to not come to school. I liked the book. It's a fun read.

One of my absolute favourite's by Enid Blyton, as St Clare's is taken by the mischievious french niece of Mademoiselle! Claudine is an interesting and friendly, young, and free spirited girl, who will do anything to get her way, and creates commotion amongst her fellow classmates.

Highly entertaining as Claudine, struggling with the "English ideas of honour" still abides by her own set of rules on right and wrong, and this school year turns to be one of the most interesting in the series.

Yep I'm giving this one 5 stars, but bear in mind this is on my special Enid Blyton scale!! I actually enjoyed this one more than any of the others in the series, Claudine is fun (one problem being the weird xenophobia), there are character arcs for several of the characters, mysteries to solve and the usual tricks and a midnight feast... Basically everything one would look for in an Enid Blyton school story!

A nostalgic tale that takes me back to my childhood.
