This is a well told story with good character development that reminded me of some other books I like/love (The Time Traveler's Wife for example). That being said, I never got attached to Oona as a character. She did some very unlikable things under the trope of "she's not the age her body is", but she went too far!

Ha! What a wacky ride. Time travel books mess with your head anyhow, but start time jumping annually and the mind-bending loops and wait-what’s? Start to mount up. At a certain point you just buckle up and keep reading, trusting the author to navigate you through the temporal quicksand. And it pays off. I found it delightfully entertaining. I especially recommend it if you are a music buff, as the guitar and band references are a fun pop culture sidebar to the story. I’m still pondering what my future self might tell my past self: probably “don’t go skiing that time in Vail…”

I enjoyed this book way more than I thought it would. Based on the synopsis, I assumed it would be heavily focused on romantic relationships (which do feature heavily), but I was impressed at how the author illustrated the logistical and psychological challenges of living life non-sequentially. It was definitely an emotional roller coaster and I only wish the book was longer so we could have more glimpses into Oona's life.
