Just not into it. Boring characters, boring story. Disappointing end to series.

This book is my favorite of the Mayfair trilogy. I love the romanticism of this one, or maybe I’m just obsessed with Ash.

I did like this more than the first two in the sense that the first two had a lot more incest and rape. Book 2 could have ended the series as a duology, but meeting Ash is interesting, so I’m glad I did read this. The ending is a bit anticlimactic and a bit open ended. I don't know if Rice wrote another story extending on how this ends.
