I should maybe read the two previous books in the series, but I didn't love this. The humor didn't hit me quite right, and I'm not sure the satirical angle of it is really aimed at children. I am quite possibly wrong, though. It was still an enjoyable, and very fast, read.

Isaac loves the songs in all of the Lulu books. He also loved all three so far, but I think the ending of this one is less tight and a little random.

I would say this is on the high end for early chapter books. The author does a lot of talking directly to the reader which I did not expect- it was amusing. The story has enough action to keep a reader's attention. I would hand this to 1st or 2nd graders who like action and humor.

Lulu is a smart kid who likes things her way. An ordinary babysitter would never work for Lulu. In comes Triple S and Lulu has met her match.
