Absolutely perfect. I wish i could put how i felt in this review. How many feelings I felt.

This book was so amazing and it made me want to cry (in a good way).

Read this book.

Sunny is so charismatic and charming. She is adventurous and so loveable. She is strong and brave. She is such a baby gay too.

I love her self discovery journey.

I love kate and dave and maybe even Lena.

I love Kate and Sunnys relationship. I love how supportive she is and how much she loves sunny. I love how Lena is trying.

I honestly just finished this book and i already want to reread it. I didnt appreciate it enough.

This book was absolutely amazing! I really wish I had had Ashley's books when I was a young Mormon girl in complete and total denial about my feelings for other girls. Little McKinlay really needed these types of books and I am so happy they exist now!

A great middle grade read. Sunny deals with a new heart, meeting her mom after 8 years, and the realization that she might like girls.
