It's definitely for naughty children but the writing is really nice! Totally enjoyed

Cute update of the classic Mrs. Piggle-Wiggle books. The illustrations were fantastic. This is a solid lower grade chapter book, and will likely be more enjoyed by its intended age group than adult readers.

What a fun re-do! I remember reading Mrs. Piggle-Wiggle as a child though I can't remember many details so I can't comment on consistency. But this is a charming story in it's own right. Mrs. Piggle-Wiggle needs to go find her pirate husband and she asks her great-niece to come stay in the upside-down house to take care of the animals. Like her great-aunt before her, Missy uses a powerful combination of magic and common sense to create happier and more well-adjusted children -- and parents too. The book will be published in September - I read the ARC which did not contain the illustrations but if the cover is an indication, they will be charming too.

I really enjoyed this book. When Missy comes to take care of her aunt's house, things are just as crazy as she remembers as a kid. This book was heart warming and entertaining. I really enjoyed the new take on the story and can't wait for the others!

Not nearly as good as the originals, but definitely entertaining. Looking forward to the next one.

I really want to love this (bc I loved Mrs. Piggle-Wiggle as a child, even though she doesn't age well). But though Missy is a nice and fun update, and the format is quite similar as a group of linked vignettes, it didn't quite gel for me. The opening felt rough, I couldn't quite get a handle on Missy's age (since she looked very young in illustrations), and the timeline felt like it needed work. Still very funny (plus my ARC is signed :) )
