Even better than the first. Did book and audiobook on varying chapters and both were excellent, Avasarala's chapters are the best in audio.

Such well-written characters. Avasarala is a gem. Bobbie is terrific. Amos might be my favorite of all.

Really love this book, I enjoyed this one more than the first. Just don't love the way the author describes women sometimes. Whether its because he's describing from Holden's POV or his own, it makes me uncomfortable at times.

While I’m a little disappointed to find out The Expanse is more episodic than I assumed it would be, this book still didn’t disappoint with its scale and plot. The new characters were incredible enough to make up for the ones that were missing.

Hopefully the rest of the series will continue to live up to the first two entries, while also growing more continuous in the overall story.
