I wish these chapters were longer! I feel like we're finally starting to really establish a plot, and I'm excited to see where things go from here. Loving the teen characters who want to strike out on their own. Got a little glimpse that the main character could identify on the LGBTQ+ spectrum, which is cool as well. I need to know now about b.b.'s power! Sad to have to wait for another issue to release

Three stars because 27 pages just isn't enough. For someone who loves novels and trilogies and series, I just can't understand why I'd only want a book with 27 pages! However, this concept is interesting and the artwork is lush. I'm ready for more b.b. free.

This comic is AMAZING...
Issue #2 follows up the events that happen in issue #1. I wish I could say more, but I'm so fearful of spoilers. Some key things that I loved about this issue was the exploration of the relationship and friendship between B.B. and Chulita. After everything that B.B. experienced in the first issues, I was so happy to see such a supportive relationship. Chulita helps B.B. process everything and so easily welcomes B.B. into their home and family with open arms. The artwork is still as amazing as it was in the first issue with such intriguing characters and dynamic plot.

The artwork is stil great and it was nice seeing a wheelchair user in a comic, but nothing really happens in this issue.

Issue 2 is another fun and beautiful read! We are getting introduced to some heavy and important topics here like child abuse, individuality, and gender identity.
I also love the panel sequence where Chulita tells herself not to cry and that she can handle what's going on, followed by a panel of her mom telling herself not to cry and that her daughter can handle what's going on! ❤️ I'm not a parent yet, but I really related to this particular page.
