Un final brutal y aterrador.
Asumo que todos tienen su interpretación propia, pero dudo que los dientes tuvieran algún motivo alterno, más que solo ser una parte del cuerpo extraña para fijarse, y eso hace énfasis en la extrañeza de Egaeus.
Eso sí, ¿podría ser Berenice una interpretación de vampirismo? Quizá lo mal interpreté, pero me gusta la idea.

the beginning is highly thought-provoking but the end it peculiar. Why did he had to get involved with his cousin and the teeth?! Also, the symbols of the raven, death and resurrection commonly accur in his short stories i found.

Sunt absolut sigură că povestirea asta „a făcut ravagii” la vremea ei - premisa e sumbră și înfricoșătoare, mi-ar fi plăcut ca subiectul - moartea unei logodnice și posibila nebunie ce coboară asupra protagonistului - să fie explorat ceva mai amplu, în mai multe pagini.
