Getting pumped and primed for Infinity War. This Winter Soldier is nowhere near as good as the movie of the same name but still a very exciting read!

Great read

Read this on a Kindle Fire and it looked great. The story was good. Someone knocked off the Red Skull, sending Cap on a trip down memory lane. But are the memories real? Well worth your time if you're a Captain America can as it brings in different aspects of his story as well as a few old favourites.

Brubaker rules

I forgot just how amazing Brubaker's run on Captain America was. He's got the character down and this is only the first part of a pretty captivating story.

Another superhero that I mostly know through the movie adaptations. I like the movie Winter Soldier quite a bit.

The artwork was mostly ok. Parts where flat and not terribly good in my opinion. The story started interesting enough with the Red Skull.

A lot of flashbacks, a bunch of superheroes and bad guys. The story was suspenseful enough to hold my interest to about the midpoint, then the whole thing lost steam for me. Ok, I guess, but nothing special.

Jack Monroe is a tragedy

I was looking forward to this one, but in the end the drawing seemed confusing and also the main storyline was quite convoluted and mixed up with the fake memories of Cap. What I actually liked was the appendix story.

Have mercy, I was not expecting the deluge of emotion that last chapter about Jack Monroe would cause me. Its structure and storytelling was similar to the manga rendition of Battle Royale, especially that cruel, final irony at the end.

I'm in pain.
