It was a cute little rom-com but it didn't stand out in any way. The whole wedding objector thing was fun and I thought it was original, but otherwise the love story was pretty standard. Loved the little Omaha shoutouts like Upstream and Ted & Wally's!

Look at me actually enjoying a Lynn Painter book for once (quite thoroughly I might add). The banter between these two made me feel like I was in on something I shouldn’t be - pursed lips and smirking hehe. They’re both cat lovers (extra cute). Surprisingly I found how Sophie kept shooting down the possibility of more than a situationship multiple times irking when there was nothing much holding her back. Max was top notch and kinda wished there was more his POV as the ratio seemed to be leaning towards Sophie’s. The MMC ex part in the story feels like an awkward and oddly placed addition last minute in the story for me.

Larry and Rose are the best old roommates. Especially Larry being hilarious af. FUCKRAH lol what was that even, I can't. Ending was adorable.
