Surprised how well this holds up! The sequences in Salt Lake are claustrophobic and extremely intense. A great introduction for such an iconic character.

Found a free app on my phone with all the Sherlock Holmes stories contained within!! I thoroughly enjoyed this first installment and am looking forward to reading them all - some for the first time!

I read Hound of the Baskervilles when I was much younger, so this was my first adult encounter with Sherlock Holmes. I enjoyed this story immensely. The second part threw me for a loop until I realized Doyle’s timeline choices. A great mystery novel all in all.
