As far as I remember, this is the first of Astrid Lindgren's books I've ever read. One might say I'm a bit late to the party but then again, I feel like I wouldn't have been able to appreciate the book as a child as I do now.
It's a bittersweet story and the ending kind of broke me. I read it in public and I seriously had to hold back a few tears.
What an astonishing book.

En vackrare berättelse om kärlek, brödraskap och förlust det får man leta efter. Kanske för alltid. Vem vet om det ens finns?

Skorpan och Jonatan Lejonhjärtas berättelse träffar rätt i hjärtat. Detta blandas med Astrid Lindgrens fantastiska skrivande som målar upp bilder liksom konstverk inom mig. Jag kommer nog aldrig sluta fascineras över hur hon som författare kan ta sig an så svåra ämnen och skriva om dem på ett så lättförståeligt och vackert sätt!

En bok alla borde läsa någon gång i sitt liv!
