Granted this is the same delights of the tv show and it's basically rehashing what happened in series one and two.
But it still brings all the show's humorous delights, including explaining the big secret about the big bowl.
It gave me all my Derry Girls delights and made me love the show even more than I already did, which is an accomplishment.
Definitely an enjoyable and hilarious read.

Such a good addition to the series, loved it!
This book was absolutely cracker! I adore Derry Girls, and this was a wonderful little extra look into the life and times of Erin Quinn whilst we all lonely await the third season. I found myself chuckling out loud and paused a few times to read excerpts to my mum (whom the book actually belongs to - for Christmas we got her the Derry Girls book and calendar because it’s one of her favourite shows).
I think, as a Scottish lassie, so many things in the show (and book) are relatable, especially since I grew up in the 90s. So many times I found myself laughing at things that I can say I probably wrote in my own diary when I was younger.
This is a great read, and I’d recommend it to anyone who enjoys the series!
P.s. Erin totally has a crush on James, right?
