Perfect for Her is the fifth book in the Harbour Cove series. Each book in the series can be read as a standalone, but I think reading this series in order is best. The books are short, and I loved seeing the friends find their happy ever after. This was Mark and Harlow’s story and the intrigue in the storyline kept me reading to the end.
Mark and Harlow met a few years previously on a tropical vacation and spent the week together. It was supposed to just be a fling and at the end of the week, they parted ways without exchanging personal information. Mark wanted more but Harlow was too scared, but she remembered the name of the town he was from. Now she has moved to Harbour Cove with a secret she kept from Mark.
This was a heartbreaking story and I loved seeing Mark and Harlow finally finding each other. It was great to revisit all the friends again and see what their future had become. This was a sweet, emotional story that will touch your heart.
I received an ARC and am voluntarily leaving a review. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

Mark and Harlow spend an incredible week together on a tropical vacation, they decide to keep it a fling with nothing coming from it. When their time comes to an end Mark realizes in this short amount of time, she has come to mean more to him than anyone else and he doesn't want this to end. Harlow leaves Mark with a heavy heart but she thinks deep down this is the right thing to do, however later on when secrets come to light, we know this wasn't the way to go. Years later they are back in each other's lives, but it isn't what they expected. Harlow has secrets and she is counting on Mark to help her out and keep her safe, but will he be able to overcome the anger by her betrayal? Harlow's secrets may end things before they can ever find footing in their relationship. As I was reading, I understood why Harlow did things the way she did and I was a little angry with Mark's family and friends giving her a hard time, but honestly, I would probably think the same as them that since she is hiding so much what are her real motives. In the end this was a sweet and emotional read that I really enjoyed.

Mark and Harlow meet in paradise.  He's on a well-earned break and she is on hiatus from modelling.  He's the king of love 'em and leave 'em but he wants more than the week they are together but Harlow needs to get back to her world.  She knew where she could find him though.

After several years Harlow finds herself in Harbor Cove and when she meets Mark the chemistry is still sizzling between them.  But will he still be so happy to see her when she reveals the wonderful parting gift that he left her with?

Second Chance Romance, Single mum, recently discovered child - they all lend to the play of emotions throughout the book. They stumble slightly finding their new version of normal but there is no doubt that these two were going to be awesome co-parents even if they hadn't chosen to be together. Harlow is far from the picture-perfect model - in fact, I loved the way that she was portrayed as a bit of a walking calamity.  It made her so much more interesting and relatable.

Well thought out story as a superb ending to the series!
