this was a very lighthearted, fun, romcom. i didn’t love it as much as i loved the love hypothesis, but it was a very very very close second. it was so fun and i absolutely adored all the characters. their relationship was a lot more intense in my opinion that adam’s and olive’s, but it suited their characters very well.
adam and olive’s cameo was so so so cute and i love how well Elsie and Olive got along, it was the cutest. I liked the family dynamics in this one, and the plot of “fake-dating” wasn’t the plot of all which i first assumed and thought it was going to be another rerun on love on the brain. however, this one exceeded my expectations by a loooooong shot. i loved almost the whole book. it was a really fun read and although Elsie and Jack said some pretty cringey things that made me want to tear my hair out, their relationship put me back into my “hopeless romantic” stasis. i absolutely tore through this book, even with the limited time i have in my life currently #fulltimestudent #iworkbcimpoor. i couldn’t put the book down. i loved just integrating into a very lighthearted world where they love each other more than anything in the world. it’s nice to know that in a fictional world, it gives me hope that i can be loved the way i love!

Cute rom com book set in academia! Definitely a little cheesy/over the top at times but a nice light read
