It was a cute little tale, but it felt rushed, especially at the end. I don't know if the author was trying to meet a deadline so this sweet little novella could get out on time, but that's how the last 40 pages or so felt. Otherwise, it was a delight.

I like these characters, unfortunately I missed the original narrator. Just didn't have the same feeling/vibe.

An intriguing tale that left me wanting more. I have always meant to read The Witches of New York, but had people say that it wasn't like The Birth House or that they didn't enjoy it as much. Based on what I read in this one, it will be a fun read!

Book 37 of The 52 Book Club Challenge of 2024

This was a very short book that I read for the prompt “Set during a holiday you don’t celebrate.” This one was set during Yule and it centered around some witches. To be honest, I didn’t like this book. I had trouble keeping the characters straight & really didn’t understand why I should care for any of them.

Weird cash grab. It was only like 90 pages but the price of a full-length book! What a scam.

I adored Witches of New York, it was nice to catch up with these characters again but it felt too short.
