Plot or Character Driven:
Plot
Tsubasa kidnaps Shizuka to take her to an outdoor party, hoping that making new friends (Tsubasa's friends from her real school) will help her get over her desire to get revenge on Arisa. It works, at least for a short while. Then there's a long flashback to Arisa and Tsubasa's childhood, and an incident where Tsubasa tried to get her sister to run away with her after their parents decided to divorce.
My reaction to this series is just one long frustrated scream. Ando consistently overdoes it with the characters' craziness. It makes it difficult to believe the moment when they supposedly snap out of it, like here, when
And the chat room convo just made me shake my head. In no way does it prove that Arisa was the King who got Shizuka bullied and injured. I can easily imagine a scenario where someone close to Arisa logged in under her name and had that convo with K. In fact, I strongly suspect that "K" is Rei Kudo and that "Arisa" is Midori. It's likely that Rei spoke to Midori thinking he was Arisa.
The flashback to Arisa and Tsubasa's childhood just proved that Tsubasa has never really taken the time to think things through. She somehow thought that 5000 yen (which currently works out to about 44 USD) would be more than enough for her and her sister to have fun for a day and then get themselves a hotel room for the night. Granted, she was a kid and probably had no idea how much things cost, but still. Even back then, Arisa was the one who took care of things when her sister's plans didn't pan out. That doesn't bode well for the rest of the series.

Spoiler
Unfortunately, the King tells Shizuka Tsubasa's secret, and Shizuka has a meltdown and uses all three of her phones to wish for Arisa (the real Arisa) to be erased from this world. However, instead of granting her wish, the King opts to grant the wish of the person with the fourth phone, that the King get rid of the person with the other three cellphones. Akira grabs the phones and gets hit by an ambulance. Shizuka decides to go to an orphanage to get away from the King and the temptation of King Time. Before she leaves, she gives Tsubasa the URL to a chat room showing a conversation between Arisa and someone named "K."My reaction to this series is just one long frustrated scream. 4 Stars for Arisa volume 6!
The Plot and the Thoughts
Ugh, god...I'm really starting to think that captain obvious is the King. I believe I mentioned him a few reviews back. Why? Well because all of the current suspects haven't been around so how the hell could they be the King? Hoping that I'm wrong though...please let me be wrong.
Tsubasa randomly (okay, maybe not randomly)kidnaps Shizuka to take her to a BBQ party with herself and her friends. Shizuka is initially really happy because all these people want to be her friend. But Shizuka quickly starts to question their motives and leaves the party. Tsubasa attempts to convince Shizuka that everyone really does just want to be her friend but Shizuka won't listen. In her attempt to get away Shizuka nearly wheels herself over a cliff, but Tsubasa saves her, sacrificing herself (more or less). Shizuka fears that she may have gotten Tsubasa killed and quickly goes for help.
Shizuka continues to be an unreasonable girl when the King sends her a clip of Tsubasa changing into her wig (so the King knows that Arisa is still out of the picture) and is enraged again. As a result, she makes another wish to the King and The King complies, making an ambulance crash into Manabe. Shizuka FINALLY realizes that the King was never on her side because the King hurt Manabe, who made her a promise long ago to be always on his side (which is why he started acting like he had multiple personalities because his alliance with Tsubasa had to be annulled in order to continue being what Shizuka wanted him to be, her servant (well, that's how I felt about it). Shizuka tells Tsubasa to go to a particular website in order to figure out Arisa's secret. I'm guessing Arisa was a regular Internet Cookies purger if Tsubasa and Manabe couldn't figure out the internet site thing. Auto-fill, website history, quick links drop down menu anyone?
Considering that Arisa was the original King puppet (I know the series keeps saying that she was the original King, but come on. Someone was obviously pulling her strings cause from what I gathered so far, she isn't the type of girl that would want to turn it into a cult-like thing that it is now). This is why I now think it's "captain obvious," cause he WOULD know that Arisa was the original 'so-called' King. He would be the most obvious and natural choice for Arisa to talk to...and let's face it, he's far too perfect. Everyone has a wish.

Another great volume of Arisa, though I do believe I may have figured this one out already. I'm guessing though and only the next 4 volumes will truly tell me if my hunch is really, so onwards and forward!

That bonus story did me in. Legit tears!!
Things are really creepy and screwy all around. But they're def getting closer to the truth of who the king is.
