So the overall story is good. The base roots of it is one I read all the time. However, Taylor is a stupid girl and doesn't know anything about self preservation. She allows her body not her heart or mind to lead her. Which will leave her broken. She needs to take a long look in the mirror away from everyone. Not with family that tells her to go after him. Not friends that say he's a great catch. But ALONE!
Nate is an insecure little boy playing a men. He doesn't have a back bone when it comes to self worth. He allows the people who are suppose to support him bully him into submission. He fells to see that the loyalty he has for them isn't the same they have for him.
He is frustrating for sure.

Both him and Taylor need a good shake and a slap to the face. And don't get me started on the friends and family! They enabled her to get hurt! Who tells their friend/sister to go after a man that is taken already and who lies at the drop of a damn because he lacks the guts to tell the truth. Because he knows he will lose her if the truth was on full show!
I can understand it was arranged but it takes two to make it happen.
I just can't. If she would have stand her ground and gotten her own place he would have had to face the fact he can't have his cake and eat it too! Good writing but terrible adults.
Everyone enables them. Only Miranda forces the matter! She may not play fair but she lays all the cards on the table.

Nate and Taylor may love each other but they lack the knowledge of how a healthy relationship works. Also, had Nate taken her to his Birthday Party as his girlfriend his family wouldn't have been able to set him up. Moreover, his lack of interest in life/ dating caused them to react as they did.
And who continues to go to parties just to be hurt. Everything happens at the parties. Smh
Just one big cluster fuck. Not a bad story but, damn it, stop letting sex lead you!

Okay. So I read the first book in a day and I read this ARC in a day. It pulls you in but you may want to throw your E reader at the wall and yell WTH!
I gave this book 3.75 stars. Base on heat, drama, and the need to see what happens next.
