I don't know why I thought this might be a fun reimagining of a story. It doesn't offer anything new except transporting the story into a more contemporary setting (throw in words like texting, laptops, and email!) while keep the tone and language of the original. Hate to break it to y'all, but Baz Luhrmann did that once, but it was better. Despite its weak storytelling, the cast does amazing job.
