This book was amazing. Funny & hopeful nationbuilding of a universal design utopia featuring flying moose. So good.

Lovely, mostly escapist but some serious thoughts about diversity, ownership, and governance. Does a little too much telling and not enough showing in parts.

Annalee Newitz's The Terraformers is a wildly ambitious multi-generational sci-fi adventure. Rooted in some really cool geological science, the story ultimately takes twists and turns into exploring far-out social hierarchies, new yet familiar forms of intelligent life, and the costs of unchecked capitalism. At times some of the moving parts felt a bit hard to keep track of (especially when reading before bed!), but all-in-all everything came together quite nicely and in a satisfying way. Great read overall!

What a weird book. I was interested the whole time, left me with a lot of questions and thoughts - can’t say I loved it but it was a fun read. Disappointed there was no
r4r kink scene
after they hinted at it!! Cmon
