As much as I love Bloodborne I just can't get into these comics. A Song of Crows, third title in the Bloodborne comic series, tries its best to expand the mythos and character backstories, forgetting the very aspects that made Bloodborne so successful. Remember how epic the game is? Compared to the game, A Song of Crows feels like a low-budget fan project on Vimeo. I do respect the effort, but the result is not very entertaining. Much like the second title The Healing Thirst, A Song of Crows is disappointingly dull. I think I'm done with Bloodborne comics for now.

Art is still pretty good. Everything about the art and illustrations for this series is absolutely stunning - I have no complaints. But I do have a complaint about the execution of this one.
Also an absolute let down after I found the 2nd volume to be the best in the series. This one follows the NPC Eileen the Crow. It has a semblance of a plot but you can easily miss it. They probably tried to make it vague and and dream-like but this one missed its mark for me.

This one is so trippy and I love it. There's screeds of pages with no text boxes. So artful.
