How are the adults in this book so cruel and oblivious? The vice principal was so annoying. I’d rather deal with the Miserable Mill than this Austere Academy- and that’s saying something!!!
I enjoyed this book- it wasn’t my favorite but it was interesting! I liked reading about the differences in the Baudelaire’s process to root out Count Olaf’s schemes. I also enjoyed that the orphans had some friends to relate to in this book- they were a welcome addition.

Did not have a good time with this one. The ending was promising for a change in the story structure, so I have hope for the series still.
