What an emotional ride! These topics hit close to home and were really emotional to get through. I appreciated the Authors Note at the end, it really tied perspectives together and made the themes deeper.

I absolutely loved this book! Some parts were just a little bit cliché, but other parts I truly felt that I was in the book. I had the exact feeling in my body before they were even described in the book! I don’t think I have ever found that while reading a book before. It didn’t break me the way that everybody described on the reviews but it definitely hits you hard, so prepare yourself.

Oh man. This story put somewhere I never wanted to be. I experienced domestic violence and the love, hate, guilt, bargaining, and sadness that accompanies such situations. I never wanted to be in that situation but I am a better person for having been put there.

Colleen Hoover, I see the heart and pain you put into this story. Thank you.
