I really liked this one; it was fun seeing Angela in an outwardly great place both personally and professionally, but to see that she still had issues. I (personally) would be pretty pissed if my husband bought a house as surprise.

Jenny is super duper annoying; I don't like the way she talks down to Angela in the best of times. I agree with Alex that she is a complete disaster and always pulling Angela into her messes - she takes credit for Angela's success when in reality, she's the one causing a lot of Angela's problems.

I also liked the realistic portrayal of a woman who is unsure that she wants kids soon because of where she is career wise, and that she's worried about the idea of it, and then she finds out she may not be able to have them unless she has them immediately - this is something I think about a lot.

Having Louisa turn up with marital problems was also an interesting and exciting turn of events; even her issues were very relevant and I'm glad it turned out that her husband is just a dope and not a cheater.

This review was originally posted on Star Crossed Reviews Firstly if you haven't read all of the I Heart books then, I am disappointed in you. I think you should go to your room with said books and I do not want to see you until you have read them.

This book was excellent. I have been super excited about this book since Lindsey first announced. For me reading an I heart book is like being with a friend you love but haven't seen for ages. Its excellent. Christmas is my absolute favourite time of year. The food, the music, the decorations... sorry I am easily distracted when it comes to Christmas. I am yet to spend a Christmas in New York but I will make it happen. after reading I heart Christmas  I am going to have to start putting those pennies away for next year. It sounds truly magical.

I love Angela. I have done since she first jumped on that plane and went to New York a sobbing mess and ended up under the wing of Ms Jenny Lopez. Sometimes I do wish she would talk to someone rather than bottling everything up and then ultimately exploding, but maybe that wouldn't make such an amazing book.

I was extremely jealous of all the chrismtassy things that the gang experienced. Christmas is still a little way away but I am so ready for it this year. well except for the presents. obviously.

Alex has to be the sweetest boyfriend/husband ever. As always he was fantastic when Angela has her meltdown. I loved his Christmas present to Angela.

It was great to see the gang altogether again Jenny, James, Louisa, Craig & Graham all joining in on the festivities. It was even great to have Cici back. A part of me really wants her to change...That could just be wishful thinking on my part though.

I thought this was an excellent addition to the I Heart Series and I hope it won't be the last. I will absolutely be using the guide in the back of the book when I finally get myself a NY Christmas.

Oh I loved this next part of Angela’s story! Of course it wouldn’t be a quiet Christmas in Angela’s life, would be too good to be true otherwise. I am so excited for the next steps in Angela’s life going onwards and upwards, but I can 100% relate to it all being overwhelming and all at once. I was there for all the ups and downs of this book, and I truly just wanted to give Angela a hug. Maybe I’m biased because I love her to bits, but I always feel all her friends are so mean to her for no reason. And I’m not even sure what was happening with Jenny all of the sudden – the baby-craze I did not expect!

Also, Alex can do no wrong in my eyes – that man is just perfect!

So of course, this is a five star read for me…I’m two books away now from finishing the series and I am taking my time because I don’t want it to be over!

So I finally, finally!!! finished reading the whole book. Every year since 2013 or 2014 I have tried to read this book in December and then lost it. But not this year! I read it and I did really like it. It has been such a long time since I read a chick-flick and I really enjoyed reading this one. I liked the characters a whole bunch and of course, the Christmas theme.
