Volume 2 continues the adventures of Buffy and her "Scoobies." The mysteries deepen, characters continue to grow and change, and Whedon once again teaches us to never get attached to characters. Oh, come on, that's not a spoiler. It's Joss Whedon!

Fans of Buffy will really enjoy this. The art is strong, the dialogue is consistent with the characters, and the storyline is engaging. Great escapist fun.

Amazing and funny volume in the Buffy comics, but mostly because I love Xander and Dracula's bromance so much. I didn't give five stars because I'm not sure if I enjoyed all parts of the story.

Wish I could give the 1/2 star again. This would be 4 1/2 star - the artwork is amazing and the story evolves the characters bringing in the beginnings of how Fray ends up where she is (cryptic for those who do not know Fray).

I didn't enjoy this one as much overall. I bumped up to 4 stars because I did love the Tokyo vampire story... Mainly due to Dracula! I love what the show did with Dracula and the continuation of his relationship with Xander.

I did not like the other arc that had Buffy transported to a future dystopia. I always hate that story anyway, and yeah it was pointless in the end since she obviously got back home. Duh.

The Twilight thing still rumbles on in the background, and still no idea what's gong on with Dawn...

The Willow one-shot was OK.. I feel like it ended before it got really interesting though.

The art varies but is generally very good. The one I have trouble with is Buffy who sometimes is hard to distinguish from other blonde slayers, or Fray's blonde ponytailed sister. There was also a Big Reveal of some guy from Buffy's which was lost on me because I couldn't work out who it was meant to be... I think it's most likely Riley from the army green tank top! (Could easily be Angel but the outfit didn't match lol)

While I didn't love this one as much as I loved the first installment of season 8, it was still fun to see all of my characters - except Kennedy, I will never like Kennedy, it's just not going to happen. Also, why must Joss always hurt Xander so much????

This installment also took a slightly weird turn with Buffy's love life -not that I'm against it - it just seemed a little weird and out of character for her, which I think was the point but am not sure quite where they are going with this. Another nice surprise was seeing Fray. Having read the graphic novel for Fray prior to this collection, I had a knowledge of who the character was already and it was fun to see her interact with Buffy.

Hoping I can pick up the next volume this year at Comic Con. There's just something awesome about buying them at the Dark Horse booth :)

this was a fun volume with lots of twists and turns, all Buffy Style. I like the art & dialogue but I do get confused sometimes as to what is going on but that could be due to the nature of comic book storytelling?
I miss more vampire slaying and while I love how Buffy isn't the only slayer now, I don't really care for the other slayers.

I was happy to see Angel pop up!! Miss him and Spike - hoping they show their pretty faces in the future volumes
