Lucien is the follow-up to Eve-0, and it was an enjoyable read. The dystopian world that has succumbed to pandemics and the measures taken is timely and quite scary. I struggled a bit with the pacing of this book. Some things seemed to be drug out, while others seemed rushed. However, it did not stop me from reading every last word to see what would happen next. I thoroughly enjoyed how the author set the novel and the unique people on the pages.
