I was sucked in and could not get enough! love the characters and the reminder of what I loved and hated about derby and why it is with me forever.

Derby newbies, Knockout and CanCan continue their story in the second installment of the series. Life is tough for the gals when they are put on separate teams.
I love the vibrant art style of Veronica Fish.

A Recipe For Slam!

Take the screenplay of Whip It! and strain until excess flaws are evened out. Adjust recipe to include a plotline not driven by teenage angst and first love. Save those for another recipe. Add in two strong female characters with a strong friendship and love of derby. For good measure, add a dash of interesting supporting characters and maybe even a love interest who is not integral to the plot. Mix in amazing female comic book creators behind the series. Don't forget to decorate with good writing, amazing art, and vivid coloring.

Very happy with how everything's going. I have a feeling that Knockout is going to switch teams because her friend'steam is more welcoming.

While I really enjoyed this, it seemed like it was missing something?
