Should have stopped at the end of the second book. This was not necessary.

All in with Him
By: Lauren Blakely
Narrated by: Teddy Hamilton, Jacob Morgan
Series: Men of Summer, Book 3

I absolutely love hearing where couples go after our happily ever after, and am so excited Lauren Blakely wasn't finished with Declan and Grant! I always wonder if they get to keep that exhilarating feeling they have! Blakeley takes us through the next phase of Declan and Grant and it's fantastic. Things never go as planned, and I love how they both visit their doubts and dreams wondering if they will match each other. These two are meant to be together, and it was fun to go through their journey from meet-cute to parenthood! Loved every minute of this couple and I do hope we get to see glimpses of them pop into other books. But Blakely doesn't stop there! She not only gives us a fabulous interview with the narrators and Stella Hunter(whom I adore!), but she treats us to a quick listen. Thirst Trap is a look at two men, complete opposites, drawn to each other. And it's HOT! Narrated by Shane East and Joe Arden, this nugget is quick, spicy and romantic!

There is nothing I can say about the narration of this book with the dream team of Jacob Morgan and Teddy Hamilton. I enjoy both of their performances when I hear them, but when they narrate together, it's pure magic. They compliment each other's styles of narration making their characters realistic and relatable. Loved it.

Overall Series Rating: 3.7

The prequel and book 1 of the series definitely hook you in to this second chance romance story and were enjoyable reads. However, book 2 of this series was my least favorite. The seperation between Declan and Grant went on for too many years, which I found unnecessary.

This third book was also unnecessary like other reviews for this book have said. It felt like a very long epilogue. The story could have been really wrapped up as a duet in two books. The author really dragged the story with 3 books.

This final book didn't really have a plot. It was just Declan and Grant finally living together and having a relationship that should have happened somewhere in book 2. There was some baseball drama that I didn't really care for.

Having said that, I did enjoy the cheesy romance between Declan and Grant. They are loveable characters, especially Declan even though at times it felt like the author favored Grant. Declan is definitely a beloved character. The couple definitely deserved that ending after being separated for so many years

All in with Him is the cherry on this story's ice cream sundae. Lauren Blakely knew we'd never have felt the same without it. All in is...(swoons, sighs, and squirms in delight) NECESSARY/WONDERFUL/PERFECT.

While Grant and Declan will continue to be in our hearts and minds, All in gives us our epilogue. A way to see past the now of Winning and feel like we can let them go; fly free.

Jacob and Teddy- Just Damn! You guys are audio fantasies. (wipes drool) You always nail it. It's a pleasure (smirks uncontrollably) to listen to you. And the behind the scenes are also a good bit of entertainment!

Thirst Trap-

Melt my panties again, you say. I thought that was an overestimate until I saw Joe Arden and Shane East. I just handed took them off.

Cawpile: 7.93 4*

In all honesty the only reason this part of the series managed to carry on getting above 4* is the fact the characters had already been built so well by the author and so were able to pull along what was essentially an extended epilogue plot.
The plot of the third installment of what you’re told is a triology really could have been completed a lot more concisely and tacked on the end of Winning with Him.
I must admit to being kind of surprised when Cawpile brought this out at a 4*. I kinda felt it might not even hit that, but I guess my feelings for the characters and the actual writing pulled the dilapidated horse and cart over that 4* line like a pro stomping the ground with it’s glittery heels.

Also— Just a point to be aware of- if you are listening to the audiobook, and listening on Audible, (I can’t confirm if this is the case elsewhere) the last 1 hour of the book is actually a preview advert for a separate book!

Don’t want you to get the sudden ‘Hang on.. No! It’s not finishing now! I should have an hour more of them! No!! Come baaack!!’ Disappointment rage I had to deal with

All In With Him is a continuation of the Men of Summer Series by Lauren Blakely. Oh my goodness, the love story just continues to get better. Grant and Declan have found their love in the first 2 books and now we get to see Grant and Declan navigate life, love, the possibility of marriage and children. I honestly never thought I would embrace a MM romance but stepped out of my comfort zone and fell in love with the MM romance writing of Lauren Blakely. She has an amazing talent for bringing not only these fictional characters to life but every character she creates. Grant and Declan’s love story spans 3 books and each one has ALL the feels, love, emotion, passion, snark, amazing chemistry that just jumps off the page and some very, very, and I mean very HOT between-the-sheets action. For me the story truly came alive when I listened to the audiobook narrated by Teddy Hamilton(Grant) and Jacob Morgan(Declan). These 2 guys are just awesome at narrating the story and bring the passion and emotion to life. Without hearing the passion and emotion the story would not have the same impact for me. I just can’t say enough about how much I love the story/writing of Lauren Blakely along with the aural listening of Teddy Hamilton and Jacob Morgan. They do a fabulous job. I received an ARC/ALC in exchange for an honest review. *****

After the happy ending of book 2, the prologues of this book gave me so much stress! The book ended up being a lot less angsty than I had feared after that. Some serious concerns about a longtime relationship were addressed in this book but they were handled with respect and communication, something I value a lot when reading. I loved it, some of the scenes were absolutely adorable and the side characters amazing. In the end, it had less of an impact than the other two books, less memorable, even though still cute and their love was epic.

I feel like Grant’s insecurities were not given the same weight as Declan’s.

Like he totally needed therapy as well!
