Not one of my favorite books in one of my favorite series. This one was just too many lists of names constantly being repeated. That took up a good portion of the story when I felt like there was so many better things that could have been focused on. Still love the series, still plan on re-reading all of them, this one just didn't quite hold up for me.

The BSC changed my life in the 5th and 6th grade. My friends and I would coordinate so that we could read all of the books. I remember writing to Ann M. Martin to get her autograph. I thought it was amazing that she actually responded to me! I think growing up in a house that would change was a big adjustment and this book captured it in a very real way.

Reread for #BSC #bookaday

As I've been rereading the BSC books, it has been a quite different experience as an adult vs. when I was a kid. I'm noticing things I never noticed as a middle schooler (book shout outs, grammar mentions, etc.), but this is the first one where I really felt like a teacher reading it. I remember reading this book and being completely flabbergasted at the idea of watching SO many kids all at once. The SO many ended up being 14. I now make a living where I am in control of at least 14 kids at a time.

Thank you to @scholastic_au for sending me a copy of this one. This was another fun adventure from the Baby-Sitters Club. This time they tackle baby sitting 14 kids for a week to help out Kristys mum to prepare for her wedding. I loved seeing more of Kristys relationship with her brothers and other family. I enjoyed seeing the Baby-Sitter club members creating a plan for all the kids they would be looking after for the week and changing things up when they needed. I love that these books are still relevant today and am enjoying the new covers.
