{My thoughts} – I have grown to love this series. It is a fun graphic novel set based loosely on Star Wars. The cover is nicely illustrated and eye catching. The illustrations within the book go hand and hand with the text, helping to better explain what is taking place within the storyline.

This is the first book since Jarrett Krosockza had taken over the series that the storyline isn’t based solely on the new character Victor. Instead this book is all about his sister Christina and I think it is a nice addition to the series.

Christina is going to a new school to learn under a new Master. She has some issues getting herself grounded and staying in focus. She reads a zoologist type magazine in her free time and when it comes down to it, all the reading helps her in her studying to be a Jedi. Her classmates teased her to the point where she wanted to quit, but she held on and she kept at it. Eventually all her hard work paid off and she learned that she was going to make a great Jedi.

I think this book is a great reminder for children. I think that it can help them to see that even though things are going real well, that they have the potential to improve. It shows them that as long as they believe they can do it, they will be able to do it and become successful.

I really enjoyed this book and I look forward to reading the next one in the series when it comes out!
