I got a couple of ideas for my scraps from this book. I like the plus one idea because it appeals to my sense of order and allows me to use my scraps without them looking too chaotic.

I liked this book better than the first one. It repeats the earlier steps/philosophy how-to's that were covered in the first book, so someone could jump into this one without reading the previous book. Personally, I found the patterns and fabrics more engaging than the previous book. I liked the variation in patters, in color values, and in shapes. It has a more up-to-date feel.

For: quilters who want to use up their stash.

Red flags: some quilters may be unhappy with the amount of curved piecing here.
