I'm not sure where I got this book--I don't read much middle-grade--but it's been sitting on my to-read shelf for years, and today I finally picked it up and then almost literally did not put it down until I had finished it. Spectacular, absolutely A++, I can't remember the last time I felt so thoroughly satisfied by the tying up of little plot threads at the end of a book.
