Probably my least favorite book of Elins to date. The stakes were not high enough for them to not be together from the jump. And the secondary characters (Ursula, Leland, Cooper) were all so flat and hard to empathize with. And the end was so rushed in comparison to some things in the middle which dragged (that didn’t have much to do with the overall plot progression)

Not sure why I thought this was going to be a light and fun summer read, but I was so wrong.
This books definitely reminded me of November 9th by colleen hoover, but on a much higher level. 10/10 loved this book
