Overall a pretty good book. The order of the chapters doesn't make complete sense, the most interesting parts are nearer the middle and therefore it ends a bit anti-climatically. Even though it was written quite recently (2006) it already feels a bit dated. It is not a completely indepth book, some ideas and examples are dealt with quickly and superficially while others are extensively slaved over. At the end there is a list of examples of warrior women yet not all of these examples have been dealt with in the book. Seems a bit incomplete and rushed.
