This volume was just full of surprises, and I wasn’t expecting any of them.

First, with something calmer. A big step was taken between Teru and Kurosaki. The moment we’ve all been waiting for. And it was super fantastic. They’re just so cute together. There are a few couple-y moments between them in this volume, and I love them all. They’re just so cute and shy with each other, it’s so sweet.

I also like Teru’s friends, and their interactions. Particularly the way they push Teru, and the girl talk they have about Kurosaki. Her friends don’t have a big part in the plot anymore, and I have a hard time remembering their names, but I do like that they’re all there for Teru (and Kurosaki). It’s good that Teru has them.

Now the really big thing. We got a surprising revelation about Akira and M’s Last Testament. I’ve been thinking for a while now that there was something deeper going on with Akira, but I had no clue it was this big. And while I completely understand Teru’s stance on it, and was happily surprised by what that did to her character, I really want them to help him. It’s seemed for a while now like they were going to bring him to their side, and now I’m excited to see how that works. Akira is frustrating, and obviously needs a lot of help, but I’m excited and really intrigued by what we discovered in this volume.

This series only has a couple volumes left, and I’m excited to see how it all wraps up. I’m pretty much just excited to see where the plot goes from here. (Also, of course, Teru and Kurosaki’s relationship.)

The story has been dragging a bit lately. The same things happening again and again, or so it feels. I'm glad we got some more romance in this volume. It seems the story will appropriately end soon.

Finally, the meaning behind 'M's manuscript' is discovered after a race to decode data and the team prepare to act on their collective decision. Some lovely moments between Teru and Kurosaki and we learn a lot more about Akira's past. But, an unexpected event happens at the end. Are all their plans going up in smoke?

this series is everything i want in life *____*

like sweet merciful lord, LOOK at teru. look at what an amazing character she is! she can be a kind and compassionate while not caring for akira because hey, literally every time they've met he's been awful to her! she's sharp and able to confront villains but also freaks out later because she is a person, people do that! i would fight on a battlefield for teru kobayashi and i would also get coffee with her, that is how fantastic she is

also teru/kurosaki is one of he best most realistic couples i have ever seen. i love romance, i read a ton of it, i delight in all kinds of feelings and shenanigans regardless of ~realism~ (no one gets to take away my sparkly rose featuring shoujo kisses from me, i will fight you all). but teru and kurosaki? i BELIEVE in teru and kurosaki. stick this manga in the real world and i would lay money on them lasting. when they disagreed about akira this volume but still loved and supported each other i just sat there like ♥_♥

i need anime north 2015 to come around, if god has mercy on me i will find someone at nominoichi who'll sell me the whole series at a decent price. 5 stars

Not a lot of action in this installment and the plot has taken a new twist. To be honest, I'm losing interest in this series. At least it looks like the series will be ending soon, so I'll finish it out.
