This is something I come back to every now and again, and it's also something I definitely won't read in order. I love picking it up and reading a few poems at random. Bliss.

His poetry is amazing but I couldn't get through the dull plays.

Honestly, I never understood the appeal of poetry (like milk and honey and god is a woman). But I think Keats is the one for me, I think I finally get it.

The composition of his poems are a masterpiece. There’s something about the flow of it, the sound, the way his structure is just so beautiful (I never thought I’ll describe structure as beautiful). Sometimes I didn’t fully get the poem, but it didn’t take away from the beauty of it and I enjoyed them anyways. I just can’t get over the composition. It’s haunting and beautiful.

Read some Keats. It might change your experience of poetry.

Although I cannot relate to most of these poems, I cannot help but adore their wording. I love the intense passion of the romantics !!!

I’ve never read John Keats, so this book was my first introduction to his works! I absolutely loved his view of nature and the simplicity and beauty in it. There were poems that I absolutely loved, and there were poems that didn’t super resonate with me (which I mean fair his poems are quite old).
