A new volume and tons of fun this time! Tons of action as well as our baka trio (and later quartet, sorry Gray, but you are a dash of baka as well) goes to a demon island to take on the S-quest! Yup. S-quest. Dumb ways to die? It was really fun to see them take the quest and then also go for it despite the danger. We meet new characters (before the island and while on the island), we get some more backstory (which I loved to bits), there are some epic fights, a scary purple moon, and a demon in ice. It was a ride! I loved each bit of it and I cannot wait to read on and see how this arc will end + how much terrifying energy Erza will bring. The bonus story made me laugh!

Ooh, some development for Gray. I'm very curious where exactly this is going.

In many ways the beats are predictable, but... that's kind of why I'm finding it relaxing reading.
