It's been a long time since I read this book, so it was almost like reading it for the first time. About the only thing I remembered about it was that it was really good. And I loved it reading it again. It is definitely a story that pulls at your heart strings, a book you think about even when not reading it. The characters are very well-developed and grow throughout the course of the novel. I look forward to reading the sequel.

A quick read. Fairly predictable, but has you rooting for the heroine's happiness despite her constant bad luck.

This book did not connect with me. I found this book to be totally predictable, filled with drama that was tragic and yes, heartwrenching, but the storyline was just not believable for me. I found it very hard to keep reading through to the end. And the other storyline about Jay seemed to me very unnecessary and uninteresting - I'm surprised that this character is getting a novel all to himself in the sequel to this one. I did not enjoy it but I know others who have. If you love Rachel Nunes or Anita Stansfield you will probably like this book.

Read it for the first time a few years back, enjoyed it. This time around I dnf, it was so hard to keep going after Part 1. Very interesting book, I really liked the story line, I just wasn’t to much of a fan of Jane the second time around.

Moving, fun, and an emotional journey. Much better than your typical religious romance novel.

I loved the characters in this book and it managed to make me cry in several places. It touches on some serious issues, but man, it seems like every bad thing that could possibly happen happened. It almost got to be a little much by the end. :) Still it's a story that will stick with me.

The beginning of this book was so cliche, it was almost too much to take. If I hadn't been in a waiting room with nothing else to read, I wouldn't have kept reading. However after about 100 or so pages, the story picked up and I actually enjoyed the rest of it, despite the predictability.
