This series has a lot of potential, but I wish this book had been longer. I'd like to have seen more of Armand and Elijah getting to know each other. It's been a long time since I've read a western. On the one hand, now that I'm older, I HATE the attitude the bad guys had towards Sarah, the only woman in the story, and it's much harder now to tell myself that's how it used to be.
I did like the world, how the werewolves live much like the natives, they live in the forests, keep to themselves, they have tents, but spend quite a lot of time as wolves. Very interesting!
