I LOVED this book! This was such a fun but emotional read. Wes and Jamie are everything! I'm officially a Wesmie stan! I've wanted to start this series because I've heard such good things. It did not disappoint. The chemistry and sexual tension between Wes and Jamie were so good. The spice was hot too. I really loved Wes and Jamie together. They are so cute! I'm excited to dive into Us next!

I'm going to be honest- [b:For the Fans|62990658|For the Fans|Nyla K.|https://i.gr-assets.com/images/S/compressed.photo.goodreads.com/books/1674841506l/62990658._SY75_.jpg|98789215] sent me on an M/M binge. Did this book live up to my expectations? Yes and no.
I have read Elle Kennedy before (hello, [b:The Deal|45484397|The Deal (Off-Campus, #1)|Elle Kennedy|https://i.gr-assets.com/images/S/compressed.photo.goodreads.com/books/1557156071l/45484397._SY75_.jpg|44100599] is one of my favorite contemporary romances) so I knew chances were I would like this book. I just wanted to really like it. Which didn't happen. I liked it enough to read the duet and the novella though.
Jamie and Wes are friends. They were best friends until Wes completely ghosted Jamie. After a random meet, Wes decides to reconnect with his former best friend and explain the reason he freaked out and ghosted him. Namely, Wes thought Jamie would figure out that Wes is gay and want nothing to do with him. But now Wes is out- sorta- so he figures he'll try. And Jamie, turns out, is completely fine with it. So fine actually that they start hooking up!
This is a friends-to=lovers story. It's cute, light and easy to read. Not a lot of angst, so great for a palette cleanser.

Love Jamie and Ryan. Felt like I was looking into the lives of others with all their love, insecurities and capacity to understand and support those we least expect to fall for.

Don’t let the terrible title and the copy on the back that reads “They don’t play for the same team. OR DO THEY?” fool you. This was angsty, sweet, and sexy. Plus it has hockey. Here for it.

My favourite hockey romance!
I love Jamie and Wes so much and I fly through this every time. I highly recommend the audiobook that features both of my favourite male narrators
