I wished we’d gotten to see more of Izumi training the boys, but I was interested in what we learned of her story. This continues to be the best Shonen in terms of representation for female characters. Izumi’s story is really sad and how it connects to the boys experience was interesting to see.
Seeing more of the time before the boys went on their quest for the Philosopher’s stone was good to see, as well.
