Something for a variety of readers is in this book. For those who have not yet headed off to college, it will stir up wonderings and emotions about the changes to come. Recent high school grads might see themselves in the struggles of these characters. Older readers, like myself, may look back with nostalgia on the heightened emotions of a time when life held so much promise and so many unknowns. Another on-point, fast paced book from this author!

I received a copy of Hello, Goodbye and Everything in Between from Hachette New Zealand to review. I wasn’t 100% sure if I’d like this but it was surprisingly good.

I did figure out what would happen to Clare and Aiden pretty early in the book but that didn’t make it any less enjoyable. I did think re-living the major events of their relationship in one night was kind of cheesy but it ended up being about more than just a list to follow. Clare started the night wanting to reminisce, visiting a few important places to her while trying to decide what to do about her and Aiden’s relationship. But they ended up making new memories to take with them as they got ready to say goodbye to each other and their friends.

I enjoyed re-living Clare and Aiden’s relationship through Clare’s perspective, even though for the reader it was all new. I took me a long time to figure out why Clare was so determined to break up with Aiden before they both left for college. Aiden wanted to try to make the long distance work but Clare was sure it wouldn’t. When she explained her reasoning behind wanting to end things I thought it made sense. But I also thought Aiden made sense, wanting to at least try before giving up.

I read this really fast considering I was reading two books at the same time and I was kind of busy. Hello, Goodbye and Everything in Between is a light, fluffy read but I found myself really enjoying it. Even though I was sure I knew how the book was going to end I still couldn’t put it down. I’ve never read a book by Jennifer E. Smith before but I may have to find others by her now.

It's perfect... that is the only way I can describe this book. It is perfect.

If you are moving far away to go to college and have the chance to read this before you leave, do it!!! It doesn't matter if you are in a relationship or not, it is the perfect book to read. That being said I leave a suburb of Chicago to move to New York in 2o days. It has been a constant emotional roller coaster since August started. I am starting to pack and shop, friends are planning goodbye parties, last sleepovers are happening, and people are getting ready to leave. This book whether or not you are in a relationship still captures the emotions of leaving. Still captures the feeling of visiting places for the last time. It's amazing.

This was my first book by Jennifer E. Smith. Even though it was short, I still enjoyed it. While I was reading it, I could feel what Adian and Claire was going to though and what a hard decision that they were going though.

Read in one sitting. I love Smith’s writing and her stories. Really loved this one. Wanted to give this five stars but I skim read a lot of the details lol.

This was dumb. Too teenagers who clearly don't want to break up spend an entire night breaking up. There you go. An entire book in one sentence.

This was such a cute read!! Definitely what I needed right now.
For my first Jennifer E. Smith book, I thought this was great. The story was written really well and I loved the simple dialogue.
Aidan and Clare were really fun characters! I wish we could've read from Aidan since I was interested to see what he was thinking, but I really liked Clare! I think she had great character development and I was really enjoying her by the end.
I DID NOT WANT THIS BOOK TO END. IT FELT TOO SHORT. I NEED MOREEEEEE
I'm so excited to read more of Jennifer's books!! <3

These are the kind of cute and quick books I live for. (Definitely didn't cry at the end) ;)
