This was such an enjoyable read. It was sweet, romantic, a little steamy, and relaxing. Maddie stole the show. Holt and Cayla had such great chemistry, and with Maddie in the mix they hit the trifecta.

This book made me want a Holt. Lol. Even when he did something that rocked the boat, it was in Cayla and Maddie's best interest. The man was ridiculously close to perfect.

I also really liked Cayla. She was strong, independent, and intelligent. She never completely crumbled under the weight of her ex-husband's deceit. Arthur was a true villain.

I truly appreciated there were no long, drawn out scenes of angst between Holt and Cayla. Reading how their relationship blossomed put a smile on my face.

This book can be read as a standalone, but I think it would be more enjoyable read in order. There is an ongoing issue yet to be resolved. The book doesn't end in a cliffhanger, but it does have a teaser at the end. There is also still a problem the Bad Boy Bakers need to fix. Both couples get their HEA in this book. I am looking forward to Jonah's story.

This is the second book in the Bad Boy Bakers series, and this is just as good, if not better than the first! Wrapped Up With A Ranger was gripping from the very beginning, with fabulous characters and an engaging storyline.

Former Army Ranger Holt Steele and single mum, Cayla Black (and her precious little girl, Maddie), were definitely attracted to each other, but circumstances outside their control finally gave them the push they needed to give their relationship a try.

You can't help but love Holt when he sings Disney tunes with Maddie, but he is also a strong, supportive and protective guy. Cayla is a strong woman (which we love to see) who is a wonderful mother and a successful event planner.

There is plenty of intrigue, with twists and turns on their journey to romance, and so you'll find plenty of excitement whilst they find the love and happiness that they deserve.

Wrapped Up with a Ranger is the second book in the Bad Boy Bakers. This has been such a fun and entertaining series. I loved the concept of three bad-boy ex-military men moving to a small town and opening a bakery, it just made my heart feel all warm and fuzzy at the idea. Then to add to the cuteness of Maddie, Cayla’s daughter, I couldn’t help but love the book. I love the grumpy/sunshine concept. Holt and Cayla had so much depth and were such likable characters. I enjoyed watching their relationship grow and them realizing they had found the one. This was a fantastic book, and I can’t wait for the next book, Stirred Up by a SEAL.
I received an ARC and am voluntarily leaving a review. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

I have been provided with a review copy of Wrapped Up with a Ranger from the author via Booksprout for an impartial review. This is the second book in the Bad Boy Bakers series and I loved getting to reenter this amazing world. This book picks up not long after the first book in the series Mixed Up with a Marine ended. We just get a new set of characters Holt Steele and Cayla Black who we previously met in the first book in the series. I just absolutely loved this book. I was just captivated by everything that was taking place and I just felt so much for these characters. My emotions just went from one extreme to another and I just couldn’t help but fall in love with these wonderful characters. Oh my gosh that ending I can’t wait to read the next book in the series to see this new pairing come together.

One of my favourite things in reading anything from Kait Nolan is the world of it all - I love the 'easter eggs' of it all. Not only do we get to know some great people - Holt is just the best guy, he makes amazing cakes and sings songs for a little girl just because they make her happy - we also get little snippets of folks from previous books.

Cayla is someone I think we can all see a sliver of ourselves in - so caught up in what needs to be done, juggling all the things that we find it hard to ask/accept help. And in Holt - and his people - she gets to have moments of just being. It is all kinds of great in seeing two folks who got dealt some tough cards, and thrived despite those cards, go on and get the extra little sparkle.

All in all another winner from Kait Nolan.

*I'm a lucky fish & on the author's arc team*
