If the title of this one isn’t enough to draw you in, the proclamation that it will appeal to bizzaro and hardcore horror fans alike should immediate hook you. At least if you are into horror 🤣 this felt like the author labeled dice with random ideas and rolled them and made the idea work, and work well. I mean, who would guess that rural Oklahoma would be a great place for Evil to call home, bending native Americans to its will, turning them cannibalistic, to luring Italian witches across the ocean to serve it. And that’s not even in the present day where the story takes place 😅 full of monsters and magic, I never quite knew where this was going and I loved it.

Cara has lived in this backwater town for all her life. Living in a place that not many would consider inhabitable, she does her best to get along. Especially since she was the lone survivor in a massive shooting at the cafe. But a boy and his mom move in next door, and if there is something that is worth irritating her injuries, it is satisfying her curiosity. Shortly after Hayder moves in, strange happenings start occurring. Townsfolk go missing, and danger is everywhere. Together with the Sheriff, these preteens try to survive the unimaginable.
