Overall a nice fun read through a exploration of how D&E may have evolved if they had been forced to be married. The set up for the major plot points took a bit long for my taste and then we rushed through what felt like the meaty part of the development of their relationship development.

Unique storyline

A great new storyline of pride and pre. Loved the new characters and development of existing ones. A great read.

I have enjoyed books by this writing team in the past, but this one was noticeably lower in quality. It seems like they’ve pumped a ton of P&P variations out in the last few years. Maybe they are running out of ideas? This one suffered from modern language, characters acting out of character, and ridiculous plot points. I can’t recommend it. There are much better variations out there.
